It’s important to pay attention to your mental health just as much as your physical health, especially since, if left uncared for, poor mental health can begin to affect you physically. To prevent this, start with some self care. Self care is the act of paying attention to your own needs to reduce stress and enhance your mind. Some see self care as selfish, but taking time for yourself is not selfish. How can you care for others if you don’t care for yourselfl first?
