Hi everyone! I’m Amanda, the Founder & Executive director of Empower By Hour (EBH). I am currently a 16 year old high school junior residing in Orange County, California. I founded EBH as I grew passionate about many social issues that affect us in everyday life, ranging from gender inequity to mental health. I want to create an inclusive community for people to openly advocate for what they believe in and to confidently take initiative. In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and more!

Hi everyone! My name is Lilianne Asokwah, and the Project Director of Empower Hour. I currently reside in Texas and attend Lake Ridge High School, where I’m the founder and president of my school’s Girl Up club. I joined EBH as a way to expand my activism and uplift through education and empowerment on a global scale. Besides my dedication to activism, I’m also a writer, passionate steminist, and I love singing in choirs!

Hey there! I'm Abby, the Director of Graphic Design for Empower By Hour, and will be in charge of all the graphics for this youth organization. I am a high school junior from Southern California. I enjoy listening to music, baking, organizing, doodling and spending time with friends (and my cats). I joined the Empower By Hour team to broaden my perspective and others' of many topics around the globe, and look forward to continue doing so in the future!

Hello everyone! I’m Dylan, a high school junior from California. I joined Empower by Hour because I am troubled by the many global issues we face today. I wanted others to see the world from a different perspective, so I dedicated myself to this platform. I want it to be a safe place where we can express ourselves. I hope to better educate myself and others by being a part of this organization. I love listening to music and watching the very occasional drama. When I get the time, I enjoy playing video games, chatting with friends, and probably more things I haven’t discovered yet. I’m excited to see what we can achieve together!
